Mohamad bin Sabu

Mohamad bin Sabu, widely known as Mat Sabu, is a prominent Malaysian politician known for his public speaking abilities. He began his political career by joining the Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia (ABIM) in 1975 before becoming a member of PAS in 1981. He was detained twice under Malaysia's Internal Security Act (ISA) from 1984 to 1986 and again from 1987 to 1989 as part of Operation Lalang.
