He has been the Member of Parliament for Sibuti since May 2018 and previously served as the Chairman of the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) from April 2020 to December 2022. He is a member of the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), a component party of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition.
