Mohd Radzi bin Md Jidin

Mohd Radzi bin Md Jidin is a Malaysian politician and forensic accountant. He began his career as a lecturer in forensic accounting at the University of Tasmania, Australia. His political career started when he contested in the 2018 general election for the Ketereh federal seat but was unsuccessful. He was appointed as a Senator and served as the Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs in the Pakatan Harapan administration from July 2018 to February 2020. Following the 2020 political crisis, he was appointed Senior Minister of the Education and Social Cluster and Minister of Education, serving until November 2022. In the 2022 general election, he was elected as the Member of Parliament for Putrajaya. He is the Vice-President of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a component of the Perikatan Nasional coalition. He was previously a member of UMNO.
