Mustapha Sakmud is a Malaysian politician and engineer who has served as the Deputy Minister of Higher Education since December 2023. He is the Member of Parliament for Sepanggar since November 2022 and previously served as the Deputy Minister of Human Resources from December 2022 to December 2023. He is a member and Division Chief of Kota Belud of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He has also served as the State Chairman of PKR of Sabah since May 2024.
