Nik Nazmi bin Nik Ahmad

Nik Nazmi bin Nik Ahmad is a Malaysian politician born on 12 January 1982 in Kuala Lumpur. He currently serves as the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability since 2023 and has been a Member of Parliament for Setiawangsa since 2018. He previously held the portfolio of Minister of Natural Resources, Energy and Climate Change from 2022 to 2023. A member of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), he has also served as its vice-president (2022-2025), Youth Chief (2014-2018), and Communications Director (2010-2013). His political career includes serving as Deputy Speaker of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (2013-2014) and State Assemblyman for Seri Setia (2008-2018). He pursued law at King's College London.
