Noraini binti Ahmad
Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini binti Ahmad is a Malaysian politician who has served as Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development since December 2023 and as the Member of Parliament for Parit Sulong since March 2008. She is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) and has served as the 10th Women Chief of UMNO since June 2018. Her past ministerial roles include Minister of Higher Education under both the Perikatan Nasional and Barisan Nasional administrations. She was also the Chairperson of the Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA) from March 2023 to January 2024 and previously served as Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Chairperson of MATRADE. Notably, she was the first PAC Chairwoman in Malaysian history and the first Malaysian to be elected as Chairman of Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (2016-2019).
