Tengku Zafrul Aziz
Tengku Zafrul Aziz is a Malaysian politician, banker, and investor. He began his career in corporate finance and held various high-level positions in several major banks, including CEO of CIMB Group Holdings. In March 2020, he was appointed to the Cabinet of Malaysia as the Minister of Finance and made a senator. He joined the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) and contested the Kuala Selangor parliamentary seat in the 2022 general election but was unsuccessful. Despite the loss, he was reappointed as a senator to join the Anwar Ibrahim cabinet and has been serving as the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry since April 2023.
