Wan Saifulruddin bin Wan Jan is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tasek Gelugor since November 2022. He previously served as Chairman of the Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) from June 2018 to June 2022 and as Special Advisor to the Minister of Education in 2018. He is a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition. Prior to his political career, he was the founding Chief Executive of the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS) and has held academic positions, including Visiting Senior Fellow at the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute in Singapore.
