Wilson Ugak Kumbong

Wilson Ugak Kumbong is a Malaysian politician and the current Deputy Minister of Digital in the Unity Government administration since December 2023. He has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hulu Rajang since May 2013, winning in the 2013, 2018, and 2022 general elections. Previously, he was the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Sabah and Sarawak Affairs and Special Duties from December 2022 to December 2023. He also chaired the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) from April 2020 to December 2022. He is a member and Vice President of Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), a component party of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition, and formerly of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He is also the cousin of Alexander Nanta Linggi, the Minister of Works and MP for Kapit. He is the first Chairman of NIOSH of Iban ethnicity.
