Ramanan Ramakrishnan

Dato' Sri Ramanan s/o Ramakrishnan is a Malaysian politician who has served as Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives since December 2023. He has been the Member of Parliament for Sungai Buloh since November 2022. He previously served as the Chairman of the Special Committee of the Malaysian Indian Community Transformation Unit (MITRA) from April 2023 to February 2024. He is a member and Deputy Information Chief of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He is the eldest grandson of the late Devaki Krishnan, the first woman elected to public office in Malaysian history.
